Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary

Keoladeo Birds Sanctuary is a World Heritage site formerly known as Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary is birders paradise, every nook and corner will reward the watcher with different species of birds and you will hear birds chirping and while roaming around in the morning. This sanctuary is quite huge in area, better if you bring a pair of binoculars to make bird-watching easier and visit here during rainy season or in winters. Because In winter, rare Siberian cranes used to visit this park for breeding. It is located in the Bharatpur region of Rajasthan, India 55 km away from Agra on Jaipur-Agra Highway. One can reach Bharatpur easily by bus or train, private taxis can also be taken from New Delhi or Agra. Then this park is quite close to the bus stand and the railway station.
